In this Preview, a demonstration of technique and theory with hands-on participation with the audience, we explore ways to start a painting and develop it through methods which establish a dialogue with the Unconscious—ground of spontaneity, realm of authentic expression. It is a play between worlds, visible and invisible—physical, emotive and spiritual, whereby abstract images gain substance and depth.
This presentation/workshop is a preview to the complete 4 session series which will be offered on Tuesdays in July 2018 at Emerge Gallery (July 10, 17, 24 and 31 from 10:30am-1:30pm). Perfect for beginners as well as for seasoned artists who wish to break new ground in their work. More details to come.
